Bachelor of Politics - BA

Political Science deals with government and politics at national, national and international levels. He focuses on understanding and implementing effective ways to improve and improve communities. Some of the sub-fields of Political Science are Political theory, Political History, Comparative Politics, International Relations, Political Process, Public Policy and others. Political lessons will teach you how to critically analyze political discourse and tactics, how to run a political campaign and how to conduct voting. Graduate Politics at the University of Essex equips you with understanding of the relationship between government and society in regions around the world, from Europe, the Middle East and Asia to North and South America. It will examine the interactions of local and international politics in these provinces, in cases ranging from public to national institutions.

Studying for a political degree will help you answer important questions about how conflict between different groups and interests is resolved; how resources and energy are distributed to society; how decisions are made; and why political parties are improving in the way they do. You will study concepts, institutions, values and explore the relationship between practice and political theory. You will also acquire the transferable and cognitive skills needed for personal development and professionalism. Our graduates continue to work in a variety of fields, including the Civil Service, politics, NGOs, international organizations and the EU, think tanks, policy-making groups, teaching and research.

You will also develop debating skills and figure out how to effectively build political arguments. You will be educated about the distribution of power and resources and how they affect individual countries and international relations. In addition, you will find how to use such things as ethics, justice, peace, and public health to analyze and measure the achievements of governance and democracy and how to improve them. The Bachelor program will lead to a successful career as a politician, lobbying, political campaign manager, political advisor, PR specialist, legal assistant, political analyst and others.
