Moving to a new world comes with its own stress and repair times. If you move to Dubai or Abu Dhabi, both emirates have made health insurance obligations for all residents. This means that you will not be able to get a residence visa without having an insurance plan. While some emirates do not have a mandatory health insurance policy, it may be best to get good health insurance because health care costs can go up very quickly when there is a health-related problem.

Health insurance premiums may also be covered, depending on your university. If not, you will need to get your health insurance. Generally, a student visa in the UAE can cost up to AED 3,000 (US $ 820), excluding health insurance.
