Photography – BA (Hons)

This course is especially designed for national and international students. You will study through practice, by way of developing self-assurance as a cutting-edge photographer. Your learning will be informed by way of developing a deeper expertise of cutting-edge photographic practice, from industrial briefs, to publishing, exhibiting, editorial and photojournalism.

You will research from award-prevailing body of workers with international reputations and  industry experience, having worked for customers inclusive of: the BBC, the Brit Awards, British Telecom, Channel 4, The New Yorker, The Guardian, the Royal Society of Arts, The Sunday Times Magazine, The Daily Telegraph, Lancôme, The Independent, Chanel Beaute, Marie Claire, Condé Nast, Studio Wayne McGregor, Microsoft, Save the Children, Oxfam, The Red Cross, NHS, Tate Britain, London Fashion Week and the Royal Opera House.

There is also a dedicated technical support team and tremendous centers situated inside the City Centre Campus. These include industry-trendy photographic studios, darkrooms, TV studios, modifying suites, a large green display screen studio and an in depth Hires and Loan department.

We will help you to collaborate both within the University (for Example, with the Fashion, Conservatoire, Acting or Product Design courses) in addition to externally, with live briefs for real customers. You can even have the possibility to observe overseas for a part of the course, or to go on trips to destinations together with New York, Berlin and Paris.

We also have tremendous ranges of external engagement, with journeying lectures given through nationally and internationally-acknowledged photographers, as well as having several hyperlinks with enterprise, workshops, seminars, masterclasses, careers advice, portfolio reviews, mentorships and placements.
