Course Details

Studying a Master's in Psychology, you will learn all about all aspects related to the human psyche and how people are influenced by society, culture and contemporary challenges. You will explore a variety of topics, trying to answer questions such as: Is the brain simply a brain disorder. Is behavior learned or died. What kind of person recognition. How can people change their performance by finding out for themselves. The Psychology field can help you understand the broader range of human behavior and the many pathways that mental health problems face. Psychology students will combine theory classes with practical work experience and case studies on issues such as trauma, mental disorders, addiction, child development, and current therapies, among others.

An interdisciplinary level, we will provide you with a rich understanding of human behavior and underlying learning processes, memory, social interaction, feelings, thinking and communication. We are among the first in the UK to teach the basic curriculum in an integrated way, where thought is tested through multiple perspectives on the same module. The course at London South Bank University is accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS) and satisfies the requirements of the Graduate Basis of Chartership in just one year; an important step in your journey to becoming a trained psychologist. Previous studies of psychology are not required.

This transformative course is the gateway to finding a solution for a health, counseling, health, health, education, or occupational therapy profession. We will teach you the best written, analytical and calculating skills so that you can perform many functions in areas such as counseling, teaching, court services and court services, market research, human resources and business. Our department provides career support and advice for the time our students are studying and beyond. We organize a wide range of work activities such as lectures and interviews, and we also schedule work placements in partnership with many organizations. Graduates take on roles such as a Psychologist (Clinic), Research Assistant, Social Worker, Mental Health Practitioner, and Mental Health Nurse. If you graduate from this course, you will be able to apply for further study at the graduate level. You may also enter the field of academic research (e.g. a recent graduate PhD student).
