Studying a Master's in Psychology, you will learn all about all aspects related to the human psyche and how people are influenced by society, culture and contemporary challenges. You will explore a variety of topics, trying to answer questions such as: Is the brain simply a brain disorder. Is behavior learned or died. What kind of person recognition. How can people change their performance by finding out for themselves. The Psychology field can help you understand the broader range of human behavior and the many pathways that mental health problems face. Psychology students will combine theory classes with practical work experience and case studies on issues such as trauma, mental disorders, addiction, child development, and current therapies, among others.
An interdisciplinary level, we will provide you with a rich understanding of human behavior and underlying learning processes, memory, social interaction, feelings, thinking and communication. We are among the first in the UK to teach the basic curriculum in an integrated way, where thought is tested through multiple perspectives on the same module. The course at London South Bank University is accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS) and satisfies the requirements of the Graduate Basis of Chartership in just one year; an important step in your journey to becoming a trained psychologist. Previous studies of psychology are not required.
This transformative course is the gateway to finding a solution for a health, counseling, health, health, education, or occupational therapy profession.
