- IELTS Overall Band: 6.5
- TOEFL Internet Total Score: 90
- Other Tests: PTE Academic – 60
Degrees in energy engineering study the production, storage, distribution and use of energy within natural or man-made power systems. Power engineering involves the generation and transmission of electricity. Energy and energy engineers are working with a variety of natural sources, such as saturated fossil fuels or petroleum, and are trying to maximize the use of renewable or sustainable energy sources such as wind, solar and wave energy, biomass, hydroelectricity, or nuclear power. Experts focus on finding effective and clean ways to supply energy, and developing new technologies and ways to meet the demand for electricity.
Masters in Power engineers at London South Bank University often combine science and engineering lectures with practical lab lessons. Students attend classes in mechanical studies, electrical aspects, energy conversion, distribution and conservation programs, cost and economic factors, sustainable and renewable energy, and environmental protection. The course aims to produce students pursuing skills pursuing professional careers in the energy industry. You will be involved in engineering, troubleshooting and applying a technology approach within economic, legal and ethical issues. The creativity, resilience and ecological imagination create complementary themes throughout the course. We aim to produce engineers that meet the educational requirements of a full-time Engineer. This course satisfies the requirements of the Center for Engineering and Technology and the requirements for registration as a Chartered Engineer.
Students completing the study successfully can find jobs through DNO's (Distribution Network Operators such as UK Power Networks etc.), the National Grid, energy-producing industries such as gas and power plants, energy companies and more. The course was developed to combine the basic knowledge required for the L7 standard Integrated Power Engineer Apprentice and is quite different from the high student rating. Any student doing this course, other than the academic level, will have certain skills and technical skills, placing themselves in the best position to get the right job.
