Study how to plan and develop industry-focused IT projects and explore innovative solutions to major cybersecurity issues. Learn how to create and implement technical programs and systems, including e-commerce, data systems and mobile applications. The minimum entry requirement is successful completion of a relevant Australian Bachelor degree (or international equivalent) in computer science, information technology, computer engineering, or communication/telecommunication engineering with a substantial learning in computer science content.
Manage projects and communicate effectively and train and support teams, clients and upper management. Create and manage software, websites and IT systems while also being exposed to concepts relating to the design and maintenance of large corporate networks. Find the best ways to tackle common IT issues like computer hacking, software piracy and security breaches. The Master of Information and Communication Technology is accredited by the Australian Computer Society (ACS). Graduates of the Master of Information and Communication Technology may apply for membership with the ACS.
