The Master of Health Administration will allow you to hone the skills and experience you require to manage projects, health agencies, and programs. You will be able to propel yourself into leadership and management in both the public and private sectors in basic management roles as well as in specialist roles in fields such as project management, quality management and the management of certain health professions.
The first year of this course will give you an introduction to the Australian health system's key components, their interrelationships and associated policy issues. In the second year, a hands-on research project will allow you to enhance your skills and knowledge in public health, health promotion or health management. A range of electives enables you to further explore health economics and finance, health law and ethics, and process redesigning.
