International Year One in Psychology

Prepare for direct entry to Year 2 of a professionally accredited Psychology degree at UEA. Throughout this International Year One programme, you’ll benefit from studying with UEA first year students through shared lectures, and will become a part of UEA’s School of Psychology from day one.

This degree provides you with your first step towards working in the psychology profession as a chartered psychologist.

You’ll explore a range of theoretical ideas and research evidence from core specialist areas, including developmental psychology, social psychology, cognitive psychology, neuroscience, biological psychology and personality psychology.

In your final year, you’ll be able to tailor the degree to your interests by choosing from optional modules from a wide range of psychology subjects. Whether it's psychology of language, risk, mental health or good and evil, there's loads of interesting topics to pursue.
