Bachelor of Primary Education (Honors) is a one-year option for students who have excelled in the first three years of a Bachelor of Primary Education or Bachelor of Primary Education (Dean's Scholar) degree in University of Wollongong. This grade is the nationally accredited figure for appointment as a Kindergarten to Year 6 teacher in public and private schools’ programs. You will learn about on-campus classes, online reading and school and community placement. The comprehensive professional program includes tuition from the second year of the degree that allows you to learn by observing and applying your classroom skills at the beginning of your degree. During your studies you will have opportunities for overseas experiences, study abroad and the University of Wollongong international exchange and study abroad, as well as joining international immersion programs.
The addition of Honors gives you advanced skills, which will set you apart from your competitors and give you career opportunities that increase as a result of your research ability. Honors are a learning-focused approach and are accessible and accessible to all, including you. It will not add more time to your grade, and you will improve the planning, problem-solving and critical thinking skills in the teaching profession right now. This grade applies to industry and prepares you from the first day on the status of your role as chief executive. The overseas experience is available to interested students, with the University of Wollongong providing the opportunity to undertake a professional experience as part of an overseas placement. This grade is organized into four components: curriculum studies, professional experience, academic studies, and advanced engineering. You will also be expected to participate in high quality information in primary schools from admission to seventh year. Entries are taken on a full-time basis during the course of the year, as scheduled by the University in conjunction with the school sector.
