The plus-one accelerated master’s program provides driven students with the opportunity to start earning their master’s degree while pursuing their undergraduate education. It implies that students will be able to enhance their learning up to 16 credits earned count toward a bachelor’s and master’s degrees. Consequently, allowing students to receive their graduate degree one year earlier than the traditional master’s program. Ujima global leaders program

A scholarship program focused on developing leaders for tomorrow’s diverse and complex world. Ujima global leaders from all academic disciplines will work collaboratively to progress intercultural competence and awareness by engaging with communities on campus, throughout boston and the world.

Ujima global leaders will work towards positively impacting society via engaging themselves in community service, experiential opportunities, and research and global experiences. They will be committed to excellence, academic achievement, service, and diversity. As a result, ujima global leaders will be prepared to meet the challenges of tomorrow.

Participants will be awarded the ujima global leadership award, and those with demonstrated financial need will have their full need met. They are expected to participate in north eastern’s civic engagement program and complete 50 hours of community service each year.

Students receive the support needed to map out a learning journey best aligned to their personal and professional goals. Students apply theoretical knowledge in the real practical world in a variety of ways, whether through in-class case studies, short-term, employer-sponsored projects, or co-op.
