Deakin has four campuses spread at Melbourne, Geelong, and Warrnambool, which feature world-class facilities and a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.
Melbourne Burwood Campus is closer to Melbourne's eastern transport hubs. The campus is a blend of countryside and modern world embodied within the campus facilities and infrastructure. It is an easily accessible metropolitan location within the leafy green surrounds of the South East. The Melbourne Burwood Campus is the busiest campus with around 26,000 students and 1500 staff members.
Waurn Ponds Campus is based in Geelong. It is located alongside the world’s most beautiful coastal drives, the Great Ocean Road. It has beautiful beaches, whale watching, and the famous Twelve Apostles. It has farfetched sports facilities from a stadium, sports hall, and courts, to a deluxe health club, complete with gym, work-out studios, and group fitness classes.
Geelong Waterfront Campus is right on the seafront located at the center of Geelong which is about an hour away from Melbourne. In the 19th century, the building was constructed as a wool store but it has been extensively renovated, creating a modern, impressive campus. It currently has 4330 students, 322 staff, and offers 201 different courses.
Warrnambool Campus is located near the banks of the picturesque Hopkins River, close to local surf beaches and popular tourist attractions, and has a vibrant on-campus student population. The 94-hectare site is approximately 5km from the center of Warrnambool CBD which is connected with Princes Highway and by its own railway station and bus services. Warrnambool has a population of approximately 34,000 and is roughly 250km west of Melbourne.
