Overview
Established in 2017, Curtin University is located in the heart of the Dubai International Academic City. It's a branch campus of Curtin University based in Bentley, Perth, Western Australia. Its courses use the same structure and unit curriculum as those offered at the Bentley campus and its teaching is accredited by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority-KHDA.
Since its inception, they are known to have taken an innovative approach towards teaching and research with vibrant, welcoming spaces that value diversity and difference, emphasize industry connections and practical learning, have a strong commitment to social justice and foster a forward-thinking culture for our students, staff and the wider community. Moreover, they are beginning to transform our Dubai Campus into a cultural hub where members of the community can live, study, work and socialize together.

Sports competitions are held regularly throughout the semester and Universities based in Dubai International Academic City and Knowledge Village compete with each other in various sports competitions. The institute also organizes training sessions for its students in a wide variety of sports which include cricket, football, volleyball, basketball, table tennis. There are also multiple ways to take a break from studies and work and trough use of their recreational facilities. Its recreational room is equipped with table tennis, foosball table, pool table and even Xbox and PlayStation consoles.
