An effective education system was introduced with the establishment of the United Arab Emirates. One of the most important issues in the UAE has been education and continues to the present. New educational initiatives are being introduced at all levels of education. In addition, some of the world's top universities are implementing programs in the UAE, thus attracting talented students from all over the world.
- The UAE education system is divided into three sections, e.g. Public schools, private schools, and tertiary institutions.
- Public schools follow the Arabic curriculum while private schools follow 15 different curricula.
- Schools following national curricula from the U.K, U.S, India, and the Department of Education cater for almost 90 percent of private school students.
- Other curricula include International Baccalaureate (IB), French, Canadian, German, Japanese, etc.
The Academic Year:
Universities in the UAE often offer two to three years as a typical meal: the Jan meal known as Spring. Some also offer a June session, called the Summer intake that lasts until Sep. There are also Autumn meals available for programs between Sep to Jan. The duration of each program depends on the university and the exam. Most bachelor's degrees take four years, and master's take two or one and a half degrees. Students can afford tuition by offering a variety of financial services available and tuition to help the student expand where they can afford tuition.
