When you have completed this degree from Australia, you will receive a formal qualification that enables you to teach children aged five to 12 in public, religious and private schools. This grade produces high quality teachers with an understanding of classroom diversity and strong connections to school communities. During the course of study in Australia, the program focuses on teaching skills by building a multimodal immersion system in your first session, as well as sessions of general experience at every level. There are also opportunities to make international diving plans there, although they are not classified as technical information, allowing you to travel abroad, visiting schools to improve your understanding of people and cultures.
Your learning will be supported by online tutorials, forums, podcasts and video lectures, campus tutorials and school activities. You will benefit from local teacher expertise and workshops to improve your skills in networking, technology-based teaching, working with parents, designing experiments and conducting school-based research. During your study you will explore teaching and learning concepts to build your professional skills in key areas of primary schooling: English, Mathematics, Science and Technology, Creative Arts, Health and Human Development, Health and Physical, Personal and Physical Environment (History and Geography).
The Master of Teaching degree includes two years of rigorous study education that prepares highly qualified professionals who have a good understanding of student teaching and learning and the roles of future leadership roles. The basic component of the course is teaching literacy. The program focuses on the clinic for teaching children who have difficulty reading and math. You will be informed about the range of learning required for basic teaching including science, music, dance, visual arts, health and physical education and have the opportunity to practice your teaching skills in placement in two expanded schools.
