Master of Public Health Extension

The University of Wollongong Master of Public Health Extension is designed to deliver a wide range of graduate public health opportunities. It has the same Master of Public Health structure, with the added need for a second advanced study course - an additional 24 credit points or research subjects. This allows you to align your learning with your career aspirations. While in Australia, the program is widely recognized as an essential component of human health work, including health promotion, primary health care, policy formulation, research, and health systems management. The MPH (Extension) program enhances students' knowledge and skills in public health research by allowing voters to pursue further studies and / or advanced research projects. Several of our alumnus students hold important positions in the health professions and universities in Australia, as well as in the Asian regions and Western Pacific of the Public Health as a first step towards building a career in public health research.
