Master of Public Health

The Master of Public Health is a special qualification for students who wish to pursue research careers in public health, or who will find their futures whose job requires them to translate and apply the research findings. It is designed for students from the public health fields and who want to expand their research and career prospects. The Master of Public Health is a flexible degree designed to provide students with a comprehensive introduction to public health and to provide the skills and knowledge to interpret, evaluate and solve public health issues. This flexible and interesting program allows students to develop, analyze and apply policy, and to plan and analyze health services and programs while preparing their individual career goals.

The program will attract those who want to enter the public health sector, as well as those who work within the public health or health-related field and are preparing to advance in their organization or territory, or who want to expand their knowledge and skill set. During this course students are exposed to the basics of public health and fitness concepts and have the opportunity to learn the advanced skills of health care training offered by the University of Melbourne. The Master of Public Health programs at the University of Melbourne are presented by highly trained and experienced professionals, who are leaders in their chosen fields of public health.

The program is structured in response to the changing health and social problems at local and international levels. This grade consists of six public health courses, as well as one of three course choices containing three courses. Key priorities are health promotion, community marketing and community health food. The University of Wollongong Master of Public Health is a good foundation for career development and senior roles in the public health and health system. Graduates can develop and move to a variety of professions such as public health or clinical research, government or non-governmental organizations, health, health, policy, health promotion and public sector management.
