International relations are a shortcut in the field of Social Sciences. It connects to many other subjects, including politics, history, languages, economics, philosophy, theology, business and law. People involved in international relations analyze global problems, such as poverty, human rights, ethics, and try to find solutions based on interdisciplinary research. Students in international relations are educated about the effects of globalization and global policies. They also found out how political systems interact and how their impact is global. It is no accident that many international lawyers, ambassadors, and presidents have studied university degrees in International Relations. The relationship between politics and communication has never been stronger or more important than it is today. Digital media, especially social media, is changing the political landscape.
The program allows you to study such interdisciplinary interactions, to access research and expertise from the fields of politics, international relations, information and communication, journalism and languages. You will study the theory of communication and communication, as well as the historical development of international relations and the critical issues of modern global politics, becoming an expert on how new communication technologies shape society, politics and individual lives. Graduates may choose to move on to further research programs or seek for various roles in government, international political, economic and economic organizations, journalism and international focused businesses. Graduates have previously worked in a number of roles: TV News Presenter (Bulgaria), HMRC (UK) Communications Officer, OFSTED (UK) Policy and Guidance Manager and War Room of the National Committee (USA).
