International Business with Placement Year - MSc

MSc International Business course is a new Flagship program at Hertfordshire designed to help you gain a solid understanding of how organizations operate globally, and help you develop professional skills that enable you to work effectively across national boundaries. The program gives you the opportunity to explore overseas businesses from a variety of sources, including economics, finance, strategy, marketing, management, human resources and service delivery.  There will also be an opportunity to conduct a large independent research project in your area of interest. Throughout the program, you will find a unique combination of skills sought by employers around the world. These include communication, accounting, graphic, team performance, cultural awareness, experiential learning and the ability to critically analyze complex business challenges to reach imaginative creative solutions.  Throughout this degree program you will gain a unique combination of skills sought after by employers which would include communication, numeracy, graphics, team-working, cross-cultural awareness, reflective learning and the ability to critically analyze complex business challenges to reach considered creative solutions.  You will be evaluated through a variety of coursework that would include written reports of various lengths, presentations and practical assignments individually or in teams. You will also be required to complete a longer research document, in conjunction with a supervisor, for the research component of your program.
