By studying computer applied students will give you a holistic view of IT and the performance of the Computer industry by equipping you with technical knowledge in a wide variety of subjects and how they can be applied to organizations.
This Applied Computing degree will get you a holistic view of the IT and operations of the Computing industry. In addition to developing your technical knowledge and skills, you will also gain an understanding of how these skills are used in an organizational context by learning about systems analysis, project management, software development process, data management and information systems management.
In addition to the computer skills you will develop, you will also acquire basic employment skills such as team work, report writing, communication and negotiation skills. To acquire specialized technical knowledge, you will develop critical thinking, critical thinking, problem solving and technical skills not only need to keep up with this fast-growing learning environment, but to advance it. You will be specially launching your second year, studying topics such as IT project management, analytics and systems, software development process, computer networks and the implementation of data models. As you progress through your final year, you will learn about IT operations and management, data management, database building and operations, and you will make a great project.
