Our modern world is witnessing the growth of online information in a variety of ways, including webpages, blogs, social networks, digital libraries and medical records. Most of this data contains important information, such as opinions that appear on social networks, and ways to search from the search engines, how to buy consumer patterns from large data sources. The sheer volume of this information means that stand-alone applications are no longer useful to process and analyze this data. 

Essex MSc Big Data and Text Analytics course equips you with information to contribute to this newly emerging area.
