There will be study tours, case studies and client projects in core subjects, to ensure when you graduate you possess a portfolio of work that demonstrates your expertise. There will also be opportunities for at least four weeks of internship in corporations, consultancies or not-for-profit sectors, as well as overseas placement, under the shadow of tutors with extensive experience in a variety of communication industries. Thus, if you’re an international student looking to pursue an undergraduate Information and Technology course in Australia with scholarship, this is the university to look towards.

An information technology specialist creates and applies business IT systems and provides network support for staff. In order to fulfil the needs of the growing IT industry, you will study new technology and your grasp for technical detail. You will also understand how information technology is used to gather and analyze output information in organisations, and obtain in-depth knowledge of application design, systems implementation and management. The Business Information Technology (Professional) major consists of 12 core units, enabling you to broaden your horizons and meet the necessary requirements of the Australian Computer Society. This major can be studied simultaneously with a specialisation/minor, four elective units or as a double major with Business Information Technology (Professional), accredited by the Australian Computer Society. As part of a partnership with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Western Australia, students who complete 200 or more credit hours of their commerce degree are offered internships, where they can do industry project work, network with professionals and gain other practical experience. You can even go on to do your Postgraduate degree or even obtain a PhD with permanent residency in Australia.
