Bachelor of Technology (Electronic and Computer Systems)

It provides a pathway for students wishing to pursue a career in technology in the field of electronics or computer programming. Electronic is a technological and scientific discipline that studies physical, non-linear, electrical systems or electronic and circular components that incorporate these materials or electrical circuits. Electronics are in great demand these days in almost every field one can think of, from the media, medical, military, to the entertainment industry. Technology learns the combination of computers and software within a device designed to perform specific tasks and tasks. Featured devices are found inside anything that looks smart like cars, cell phones, microwave ovens, digital cameras and other gadgets we use today.

Students working on a Bachelor's degree in electronics and Computer system will learn how to choose, adapt and upgrade hardware / software components. Electronics and Computer Systems are structured that combine theoretical knowledge with a broad spectrum of laboratory work aimed at teaching, proofing, testing and applying rules and literature governing the field. Electronics Technologist, Computer Systems Technologist. which may include attending short lab sessions at the Joondalup Campus at the conclusion of each semester.

After completing of course, students will have to visit the Edith Cowan University Joondalup Campus to complete their studies. This option is only available to home students who live in the South West region of WA. Graduates from Electronics or Computer system can find a wide range of jobs in the automotive, computer and electronics consumer electronics industries and choose from the following career options: Electronics Technologist and Computer Systems Technologist.
