Marine environments everywhere in the international are increasingly susceptible to weather alternate and endured coastal improvement and assets extraction. During your research, you will have interaction with professionals operating in the marine and coastal technological know-how and control, which include Western Australia’s departments of Fisheries, Environmental Protection, and Environment and Conservation; marine technological know-how consultancies; and Curtin’s Centre for Marine Science and Technology. Opportunities in coastal and marine technology are developing hastily. Graduates are sought in diverse industries and enterprises – including federal, country and neighborhood governments, environmental consultancies and non-government firms – to plot solutions and endorse on how to address destiny demanding situations. You'll interact with experts working in coastal-area management, which include WA's Department of Fisheries and Department of Environment and Conservation, as well as aid and tourism groups.
Curtin uses modern teaching tools which include 'pier cam' to bring the coastal environment into the lecture room. Permanently stationed on Ningaloo Reef, pier cam is an underwater camera that pronounces live vision via the web. A 2d digital may be installed at the North West Cape to music whale migration.
