Bachelor of Law

This three year graduate degree gives you the opportunity to build knowledge of the law from an international and social justice perspective. We focus on evolving your competencies in critical thinking, analysis, advocacy and negotiation.

In first year, you will be able to study dispute resolution and the concepts of constitutional, tort, public and criminal law. In your second and third year, you will cover other aspects of the law including corporate law, property law, evidence and criminal procedure, statutory regulation, and legal practice and conduct.

The interesting fact is that you can also attend our winter college in Shanghai and summer time faculty in Hong Kong or Geneva, and access summer time and winter faculty electives from the Master of Laws in Global Business Law.

We also offer Judicial mentoring program that allows you to spend a semester shadowing a judge or magistrate. You also can undertake supervised criminal work in our regulation health facility and at organizations like the Consumer Action Law Centre, the Office of Public Advocate and the Environmental Justice.

You can gain practical experience by our moot court give which will simulate activities like witness examination, negotiation and client interviews. We also have an exchange program that offers you the chance to examine with our companion universities around the world.
