Film and television production is one of the biggest growth areas in the creative industry, with major international productions being made in the UK to find the best and most creative workers in the world. Taught by industry professionals and using the latest technology, you will develop practical skills, creative skills, technical expertise and business knowledge on how to start your career. The Film and Television program is a Screen Skills and CILECT program that provides an environment where students can grow into confident and confident television players. Hertfordshire is proud to be among the top 20 national film producers (The Guardian), for bringing the industry ready for graduation. The Hertfordshire course is designed to put the industry and its needs at the heart of it’s teaching. Students learn art skills from scratch, manage and reproduce their space with studio-based shots, and also get the opportunity to experience various roles in set-up and background production.
The industry-leading mathematical collaboration ensures that students hear about the latest commercial developments, while also using the established methods and techniques, workflow, and standards used by film and television companies worldwide. During your studies, you can take steps to develop your professional skills, choosing to focus on those areas of production and production in the background that best fit your career goals. With modules covering the theory, history and current practice of film and television, this course gives your insight into the industry's past as we prepare for future active participation.
