English Requirements
- IELTS Overall Band: 6.0

The power and complexity of computer systems, switching machines and support are rapidly evolving to meet the needs of today's users and most computer systems use networks, ranging from mobile phone and wireless communications to transatlantic optical fiber cables and geostationary satellite links. This course will enable you to define requirements, design systems and commission and to test computer and network technologies - skills required in today's technology-driven job market. During the first year of your BSc Honors course in Computer and Network Technology you will develop an understanding of the relevant opportunities, how you have exploited them and the responsibilities associated with them. You will gain experience in applications using Java, as well as software development through extensive lab work.
During your study in the United Kingdom, you will also learn basic technical concepts - including the development of computers using mainly game packages and PDA tools to investigate under-digital applications; the conversion of sound and image into digital form; RAM performance and Flash memory, magnetic and optical media sources; and data transmission networks. In your second year you will expand your technical knowledge, standards and techniques necessary to design and implement multimedia communication infrastructure. In your final year you will cover many modern communication areas, get acquainted with real issues and be able to work within the realm of art. For example, you will be able to understand various applications and quickly use the information needed to satisfy specific needs, customer's viewpoints and developer views. You will add your knowledge and skills to editing programs and multimedia to include images and virtual reality, as well as time spent in the gym used in the laboratory in 3D animation.
