The business and finance degree at Hertfordshire University gives you a deeper understanding of the modern business world. As well as traditional teaching methods for lectures, seminars and tutorials, we use a web-based student support program called Study Net where you can expect to find a range of visual and communication resources about the entire module. The teaching method for most modules in the study is a one-hour lecture followed by a one-hour seminar. Usually, a new theme will be introduced in each talk. These conferences provide an opportunity for discussion and feedback on the topic presented in last week's lecture. Usually, assessment is split between coursework and assessment. Doing lessons can take many different forms and can be individual or group work. A business internship will make you an attractive member in today's competitive job market, especially when combined with another course. The change of course leaves graduates in a position to take on various business roles within the public or private sectors or to continue doing their business.
