Bachelor of Architecture (Hons) - BA

Bachelor's degrees in Architecture are closely linked to other disciplines such as art and design. The art of significance is very important in human history and anthropology, when we look at ourselves living in the great structures built by our ancestors. Construction degrees share collaborative academic disciplines such as Civil Engineering, Graphic Design, User Visual Design and Art. Designers need to have an eye for beauty, versatility and durability. During school design, you will learn about building styles, architecture, architecture, world architecture and 3D designs. You will also find computer software such as Computer-Aided Design (CAD), which helps to plan, process and expand design work.

At the University of Sheffield a three-year BA Architecture degree provides a balance of imagination, creative work and professional experience. Lectures give you a broad understanding based on architecture, and draw science and personality. You will be taught by leading professionals in their fields. You will then apply your knowledge to the studio through a series of design projects. The projects are growing in scale and complexity to a major design project by the end of the third year, dealing with a variety of cultural, technical, intellectual and representative strategies.

University has strong tradition of studio design. This studio serves as a laboratory for analyzing your creative and critical ideas, as well as developing basic building skills. You will share ideas during group teaching, review the work of other students, and begin developing your personality as a designer. Designers joined our staff during studio class sessions, and brought ideas and captions to the landscape architecture. After graduating in Architecture, you will have the opportunity to work as a licensed designer, CAD specialist, interior and local designer. Some of the jobs you may find are: a building auditor, a building manager, an architect, or an architect.
